The first step in any project is called "discovery". During discovery all of the requirements for the new system will be carefully documented to insure that everyone involved in the project understands exactly what is to be done.
Discovery begins with an interview of the client and a review of any documentation the client thinks will be of benefit to better understand the project requirements, and the client's business model. VirtualNerds will create a Project Requirements Document (PRD) that explains our understanding of the project and an initial cost estimate. The PRD is presented to the client for review. The client is free to make any changes or clarifications. Once the discovery process is complete, the developers go to work.
